A vote favorable to a controversial Clemson development

The skinny margin of one vote allows developers preliminary approval of a rezoning for a combination commercial/residential development along Wall Street and Keowee Trail in Clemson.  Last night’s city council vote was 4-3 in favor of Core Spaces’ proposal for what’s called the HUB development.  It’s a preliminary outcome, as the re-zoning requires the passage on a second reading.
