Fire damaged a mobile this morning at Townville.  One person was in the home, but got out safely, according to one of the fire fighters.  The fire on Hemlock Drive in Timberlake #1 subdivision near SC 24 was being investigated for the cause.

The state patrol reports two died and others were taken to the hospital after two cars crashed early night on U-S 123 in Pickens County.  Master Trooper David Jones said the accident occurred south of the 178 Liberty exit and involved a small car and a large pickup truck.
