City of Walhalla sanitation trucks will be idle Monday in observance of Labor Day.  Monday’s normal trash collection route will be delayed until the next day, Tuesday.  Sanitation customers are requested to have their roll carts out Tuesday morning.  Walhalla City Hall is closed Labor Day.  The offices return to normal schedule at 8:30 Tuesday morning.

The Oconee County Library in Walhalla will be the scene next week of a drive-thru event to vaccinate people against COVID-19.  It will be an 8-hour event, to run from noon to 8 pm on Wednesday, September 8 at the library, 501 W.
