Treasurer’s office closed for in-person payments

The Oconee County treasurer, Greg Nowell, announces the temporary closing of the Pine Street office of the county treasurer for in-person payments.  Tax payments are being accepted online, over the telephone, by mail, and through the drive-thru.  The drive-thru operates 8:30 am to 5 pm weekdays.  Nowell’s announcement gives no reason for the temporary closing.  All other county offices remain […]
