Seneca beats Walhalla on the diamond

Seneca baseball came back from being down by six runs Monday night to defeat Walhalla 7-6 in the Western AAA opener. Alex Medlin got the win on the mound for the Bobcats, going 6.1 innings and allowing only one unearned run. Seneca will host Wren on Friday. Walhalla is back in action Wednesday, hosting Easley.

High School Baseball on Wednesday saw the Walhalla Razorbacks defeat the Seneca Bobcats 5-4 in The Journal’s Mountain Lakes Preseason Tournament.  Seneca now faces Daniel, who defeated West-Oak 6-5 on Wednesday.
