Chairman McCall makes a plea

Chairman Wayne McCall of Oconee County Council has issued a public appeal. The county has been unable to generate sufficient interest to fill seats on a pair of boards needed to help with the flow of county business. The committee that sets policy for the county’s scenic highway efforts is in need of one member. And the Conservation Bank Board is in need of a member from District Three, the Seneca area. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Beth Hulse, Clerk to the Council, at the county administrative offices.
