Chamber shines the spotlight

At a dinner last night, the Oconee Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of its spotlight business awards. The winners were named from the results of more than 1,300 votes cast by the public between April 28 and May 9. All winners demonstrate exceptional business practices. This year’s winners are Bill and Phyllis Thraves, Hall of Fame award; YoGo Express, Business Innovator; Chattooa Belle Farms, Green Business; Dave Eldridge, Tri-County Entrepreneurial Development Center, the Education First award; Oconee Medical Center, Best Place to Work; Core 24 Gym, Community Service; Tejal and Mehul Patel, Days Inn of Seneca, Rising Star Award; and Sole’ Bar and Grill, Small Business of the Year.
