Changes ahead at Pickens’ senior center

A national grant will allow renovations to take place at the Hagood Community Center in Pickens, also known as the Pickens Senior Center. And a town hall meeting is planned 5:15 Tuesday evening, December 16 to discuss with community members the changes planned. Community input is welcomed. Available for the project is a $25 thousand grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. Members of the public are invited for a meal, following the meeting, at a cost of $5 dollars. This historic, former Pickens mill school, is located at 129 School House Street in Pickens.
