Changes in OC’s administrative offices

Changes are in place today in the office of the Oconee County administrator. Amanda Brock, executive assistant to Administrator Scott Moulder, has moved into the new position of county public information officer. Brock is a 13-year county employee and a former newspaper reporter. These days in government and private business, public information officers are more common than rare. And County Administrator Scott Moulder has high hopes for what a P-I-O officer can do for county government—especially in terms of communicating better with the public. Brock takes over the office of Glenn Breed, former assistant county administrator. Megan Ballenger, a former part-time economic development office worker, succeeds Brock as executive assistant to Moulder.
