Chief fundraiser to depart

When Debbie Dubose became director of the Oconee Medical Center Foundation 15 years ago, she told OMC President/CEO Jeanne Ward she would take the job for no longer than 15 years. And Dubose stayed true to her word. She’s resigning in August and plans to open a business with her husband, Bobby. Through the years, Dubose has helped steer thousands and millions of dollars from private donors to benefit the hospital and its services. Last night, without providing specific details, Debose predicted OMC likely will benefit soon from a $700 thousand gift through a charitable trust to be given without restrictions as to its use.
