Child abduction emergency

A child abduction emergency was reported early this morning by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division. The state police are looking for a 12-year old girl believed to have been abducted in Newport, North Carolina—the eastern part of the Tarheel State. Abigale Faith Lefevers, white female, weighs 90 pounds, five-feet-four, green eyes, and shoulder-length brown hair. Clothing description not available. According to SLED’s announcement, the child was likely abducted by Timothy Howard Newman, white male, 38, 210 pounds, five-feet-eight, brown eyes, and short brown hair. The two may be in a red and black 1998 Chrysler Sebring, with NC tag AKT 6534. The car was last seen south on U-S 17. If you have any information, call law enforcement right away.
