No decision yet on whether a child day care facility may operate out of a home at Walhalla’s 40 Blueberry Court. Because of illness, applicant Kim Jackson missed yesterday’s public hearing at City Hall. Jackson was represented by Wanda Hopkins, but Board of Appeals Chairman Francis Guldner and other board members said they would prefer to re-schedule consideration until a time that Jackson can meet with them. Hopkins said Jackson wishes to keep as many as six children in her home, but her application stated she intended to limit the number to three children. And that has given rise to board concerns about adequate parking at the home.
