Children missing, father sought

Three children are missing, and the Oconee Sheriff’s Office appeals to the public for information of their whereabouts and the whereabouts of their father who faces charges.  The Oconee Sheriff’s Office announces the father charged is David Augustus Mize, 49-year old resident of Mize Drive, Seneca.  The children are seven-year old Acie Mize, nine-year old Macie Mize, and 14-year old Josie Mize.  All four have been entered in the database of the National Crime Information Center.  A court order granted custody of the children to the DSS.  But on discovering that, according to the Sheriff’s Office, Mr. Mize took the children away from their temporary custodian.  If you have information that will be helpful to solving this case, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888/CRIME-SC or 864/638-STOP.  You don’t have to give your name and all information given to Crime Stoppers is confidential.  If your tip leads to the discovery of the individuals named, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
