Christmas to arrive early in Salem

Christmas will reach the Oconee town of Salem early next month with the staging of the town’s annual parade.  The Town of Salem at 944-2819 is accepting entries for the 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon, December 4 parade.  This year’s parade will follow the theme of Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace, good will toward man.  Parade lineup will be at the Eagle Ridge School and judging takes place at 3 o’clock, an hour before the start.
