Civil suit filed against bar owner

A lawsuit has been filed for an Oconee County woman alleging that a party she attended got out of control and she wound up being shot in the leg. The lawsuit, for Felicia Campbell, filed last week in the Common Pleas Court at Walhalla names as defendants Roshan Property LLC, and Pervaiz-Ali, also known as Sonny Ali. One person died after being shot at the party, and the Sheriff’s Office identified a suspect for whom it held arrest warrants. The suit alleges Campbell attended a party at Sonny’s Bar and Grille March 3 at 1698 Wells Highway, Seneca. It alleges that fighting broke out and, while the plaintiff headed for the exit she was shot in the leg by one of the combatants. Among the allegations in the lawsuit: the defendants failed to provide adequate security and training for the security and had actual knowledge that at least one of the those fighting had “a propensity for violence.” Campbell’s lawsuit requests a jury trial to consider medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and physical injuries.
