Clarifying story

Here’s a clarification on our earlier story which named Sam Carver the new director of the OconeeRegionalAirport.  Carver’s most recent job in the field of airport work was at Slidell, Louisiana until 2011.  Our story indicated Carver is a Slidell resident.  In actuality, he is a resident of nearby Gulfport, Mississippi and it is there from which he is moving to assume the OconeeCounty job on December 22.
