Clemson hosts state’s beekeepers

The buzz at Clemson this week is the annual meeting of the South Carolina Beekeepers Association. The three-day event offers training and information for commercial beekeepers and newcomers to the business. With more than 3,000 South Carolinians engaged in the business of keeping bees, the association represents a large number of part-time family businesses whose hives are essential to the pollination of other farms.
