Clemson loses top recruit

Robert Nkemdiche of Loganville, GA, the top high school prospect of 2013, will not be attending Clemson after all.

Robert Nkemdiche, the nation’s top football recruit in the Class of 2013, has decommitted from Clemson.  His high school coach Mickey Conn broke the news to ESPN.com’s RecruitingNation via text message on Thursday.  Reports surfaced Wednesday night that Nkemdiche, a 6-foot-5, 265-pound defensive end from Grayson HS in Loganville (Ga.) Grayson, had backed away from his commitment to the Tigers.
