Clemson’s Robinson out for regular season

Clemson’s Darius Robinson will miss the remainder of the regular season, but hopes to be back for the Tigers bowl game.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney Sunday confirmed cornerback Darius Robinson will miss the rest of the regular season after it was determined he has a fractured ankle. Swinney said doctors hope Robinson can be back for a bowl game.  Robinson was injured in Saturday’s win over Virginia Tech. Initial X-rays were negative.  Swinney said Robinson’s injury was the only serious one of the day. He’s not expecting any of his other regulars to miss Thursday night’s game at Wake Forest.
