Coaching offered to pool of workers 50 and up

If you are 50 years or older and want to return to the job place, coaching is available to you during a meeting this morning at the Pendleton campus of Tri-County Technical College.  Job candidates can learn about a coaching program that will help them with their personal marketing tools and networking strategies, target their search for in-demand jobs, get job leads and find resources to help them while they’re looking.  Richard Blackwell of Oconee Economic Alliance endorses this effort by Tech.  Tri-County Tech is one of 12 community colleges nationwide selected to receive a grant to help unemployed people, 50 and older, to find work.  It’s an AARP grant that targets the need of low income, older people.
