August 17, 2012

The Oconee County Class of 2012 earned $18.2 million in college scholarships. The number represents two-year scholarship values for technical colleges and two-year schools, and four-year totals for four-year colleges and universities. Since the state began tracking the information, the collective statewide 2012 class was the first group to earn more than $1 billion worth of college scholarships.
