Community help in decorating one-year old school

Walhalla High School requests the community’s help to decorate the hallways of the one-year old school.  Requested are photographs of local landmarks and beautiful scenery, along with frameable collections and memorabilia such as vintage yearbooks; sports, cheerleader, and band uniforms; jacket letters and patches; and programs.  The school seeks the donation of these materials representing all the attendance areas including Walhalla, West Union, Mountain Rest, Tamassee ,Salem, and Keowee.  The halls are to be named and decorated, reflecting the attendance areas.  Owners of the memorabilia chosen for display may decide to donate them for permanent display or loan them to the school for a specified time period.  Please submit items by July 15. E-mail photographs to Lisa Peden ([email protected]), Sandy Haines ([email protected]) or Steve Garrett ([email protected]), or drop-off photographs and memorabilia at WHS’s front office.
