Company “could be huge”

Oconee County is endeavoring to reel in an apparent game-changer when it comes to economic development. At the Walhalla Rotary Club, County Administrator Scott Moulder said today the county expects to know within 30 days if it’ll be the choice of company with interest in the county’s Industry and Technology Park—formerly known as Echo Hills. Moulder said because of ongoing efforts to acquire the company, he can’t give out a lot of information. But he said the company, which he is not identifying by name, is interested in a 300-thousand square foot pad site within the park on n. highway 11.
