You can be eligible for up to a $2 thousand cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for a shoplifting early yesterday morning at Wal-Mart near Seneca. The Oconee Sheriff’s Department seeks the public’s help in identifying two shoplifters. The suspects entered the store shortly before 4:45 a-m and stolen two HP laptop computers, valued at $478 each. Deputies believe one of the thieves loaded the computers into a buggy—-and starting pushing the buggy toward the exit. The second suspect took over the buggy and both left the store running. They left in a blue mini-van. If you have information to help solve the crime, contact Crimestoppers at 638-STOP or text a tip to 274637.
