Congressman offers his congratulations

Congressman Jeff Duncan congratulated Duke Energy  after the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission issued a new 30-year operating license for Duke’s Keowee-Toxaway Hydroelectric Project.  In a statement, Duncan said, “Duke’s Keowee-Toxaway Hydroelectric Project will allow Duke to continue to provide clean, renewable hydroelectric power to the region as well as critical cooling water for Oconee Nuclear Station. This is a crucial component for America’s all-of-the-above energy future, and I’m proud to say South Carolina is leading the way.”
