Connecticut family pledges for Clemson recreation center

A family in Connecticut pledges to match up to $1 million in funds raised through Clemson University’s student affairs advancement staff to finish the intramural field complex on Lake Hartwell.  The latest pledge by David and Lynette Snow is above $2.4 million which the Snows donated to the project two years ago.  Their daughter, Ashley, graduated from Clemson in 2015.  The fundraising challenge money goes toward adding new fields, facilities and education areas to the recreation center.  Clemson University owns property north and south of its main campus and has access to Lake Hartwell, which runs through the campus.
