Contractor familiar with the job ahead

Walhalla leaders say the builder chosen for the bathroom project at Kaufmann Square has been interested in the project for some time and is aware of the ins-and-outs that govern the grant that allows for the work. At its meeting this week, a committee of the city council recommended Duvall Construction for the work, at a price of $52,800. Christine Tedesco has been hired to reduce and refine the drawings so that the March 31 grant deadline can be met. In the meantime, HMC Construction is attending to the porches and steps of the building.
