Conway jurist to preside next week in OC

An at-large jurist from coastal South Carolina presides next week over what’s believed to be his first circuit court session in Oconee County. Judge Larry Hyman Jr. of Conway will bang the gavel for the start of another week of General Sessions Court in Walhalla. Hyman is 64 and has served as South Carolina’s At-Large Seat 13 Circuit Judge since 2008. Next week’s trial docket includes cases in which individuals are charged with criminal domestic violence high and aggravated, distribution of marijuana first offense, and indecent exposure.
