Councilwoman to seek second term

August 7, 2013

A Walhalla councilwoman confirmed her plan last night to seek a second term in office November 5. When qualifying opens this month, Jennifer Crawford says she’ll be among the candidates for one of three available seats. Crawford is completing a two-year term. Should she be re-elected, she’ll get to serve four years, under Walhalla’s recently-adopted staggered terms of office. The political buzz in Walhalla has it that Crawford’s father, Danny Woodward, is giving thought to making a run for council, also.
