Counterfeit checks plague Seneca store

Oconee sheriff’s investigators have obtained pictures of an individual whom they want to identify as part of an investigation of counterfeit checks at the Seneca Wal-Mart.  If you can help identify the individual or provide information about the crimes, you can qualify for a cash reward as part of Crime Stoppers.  A deputy made contact with a Georgia resident about charges that appeared on his bank statement that were not approved by him.  Investigators learned also that unauthorized charges were placed on the account from two other Wal-Marts—one in Spartanburg and the other in Taylorsville, North Carolina
