County leaders at statewide meeting

Members of the county councils in both Oconee and Pickens are away this week, attending a statewide meeting on Hilton Head Island.  The South Carolina Association of Counties is holding its annual conference and continuing education sessions.  Four Pickens County Council members are attending and it’s believed a similar number are attending from Oconee.  The office of the clerk to the Oconee County Council is closed thru Tuesday.
