Cousins arrested in burglary probe

Two men were arrested Friday in the investigation of a home burglary September 2 on Timber Ridge Lane near Airport Road.  The Oconee Sheriff’s spokesman says the men are cousins.  One was arrested in OconeeCounty, the other in RichlandCounty.  Law enforcement reports identify the accused as 22-year old Brandon James Hunter and Alexander O’Neil “Metro” Hunter.  “Metro” Hunter was also charged with burglary and larceny July 2 on Ames Street in Utica.
