Crenshaw in rally against domestic violence

Press Conference Photo Sheriff Mike Crenshaw of Oconee County joined Attorney General Alan Wilson and others yesterday for a Domestic Violence Call to Action Rally in the lobby of the State House. That rally took place just minutes before the 2015 legislative session was gaveled to order. Crenshaw has made the fight against domestic violence a priority. He signed a letter to the General Assembly stating that despite years of effort, “South Carolina remains one of the most violent states for domestic violence. We cannot wait any longer for domestic violence reform,” he said. State Senator Larry Martin of Pickens County pre-filed a bill, S. 3, to address domestic violence reform. Martin said, “There is no reason the domestic violence bill should not be front and center soon.”
