Cruising is legal in Westminster

Soon there will be signs in Westminster, reminding people that cruising—or cutting town—is legal.  In fact what critics claim is an aimless activity that wastes gasoline will now actually be encouraged to bring young people and others to the city.  Councilwoman Susan Ramey and Westminster resident Zack Sharpe promoted cruising during last night’s council meeting.  “It can be a good thing,” Ramey said.  And her council colleague, Yousef Mefleh, a restaurateur, says cruising is good for business.
