Cruz to campaign in Oconee, others are maybes

The Ted Cruz campaign has announced the candidate will meet the public at noon Wednesday at the Seneca Family Restaurant.  Before all the votes are cast Saturday, some of his Cruz’s opponents may also find their way to Oconee County.  Bob Skipp, chairman of Oconee Republicans, this morning said the John Kasich campaign is trying to re-arrange the schedule to bring the Ohio governor to Oconee.  Skipp also says he’s hopeful Marco Rubio will visit and is trying to arrange for a Jeb Bush visit.  He says an effort to reach out to the campaign of Donald Trump has also been made.
