Daniel students inspired by water quality project

Dozens of Daniel High School students were inspired by the Clemson University project “What’s in Our Waters”.  The students last month presented posters for display at Clemson’s Watt Family Innovation Center.  Those posters reflect the students’ research into the water quality of Indian Creek in the Clemson Experimental Forest.  Two groups of students won awards.  Riley Owens, Kaitlin Bryant, and Lauren Slann won Best Poster Title for “Conductivities in Different Watersheds”; Ria Gabriella, Sarah Harding, Ellen McAlpine and Madison Ray won Best Presentation Title for “Effect of pH on Stream Health.”
