Daniel students learn how to monitor water quality

Thirty-seven students at Daniel High School, under the guidance of Clemson graduate students, spent several months examining the water quality of Indian Creek in the Clemson Experimental Forest. The “What’s in Our Waters” project, created by five Clemson graduate students, has grown to 12 mentors who help to educate high school students in Pickens and Anderson counties about a variety of water resource issues. Daniel junior Joseph Jepsen helped with data collection at the creek site and co-produced a poster that was presented at a symposium.
