Defendant waives hearing in Pickens County homicide case

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office  received notice from the Pickens County Magistrate’s Office that a bond hearing scheduled for Kasey Clayton Waldrop has been waived at the request of the Public Defender’s Office. Waldrop charged with the murder of Townville resident Reza Farah Khan will be transported back to Greenville County where he will remain in custody pending his release for Greenville charges. A detainer will require Greenville authorities to notify Pickens County once Waldrop is clear for release on the Greenville charges. He will then be transported at that time to Pickens County where he will remain in custody to answer to the charge of murder.
