Despite minor fire, restaurant open today

In spite of a minor fire, the China Wok restaurant next to Applewood Shopping Center will be open for business today.  According to the Seneca Fire Department, smoke from a minor fire was discovered there this morning.  The fire department’s Chris Cartee said a pot on the stove was left on during the night, though the fire did not spread beyond the pot.  The restaurant and two adjoining businesses sustained smoke damage as the result.
