Detour—day two

May 22, 2014

Parts of a major thoroughfare thru Seneca are closed again today. Bob Faires, utilities director, says repairs to N. Walnut Street where a water line broke Tuesday night are still in progress. The affected area is N. Walnut in the vicinity of 2nd and 4th streets. The water line has been restored and there has been replenishment to the storage tanks that lost capacity, but workers are still dealing with the resulting damage to the road. According to Faires, motorists displaced by the detour seem to be adjusting satisfactorily.
