DNR to take boat saqfety suggestions

South Carolinians are getting a rare chance to sound off on what changes are needed in the state’s boating laws.  “FOLKS”—Friends of Lake Keowee—see this as a chance to help draft changes to current boating laws as a way to increase safety.  The state Department of Natural Resources will invite public comment next week in Clemson.  The public participation meeting will take place 7 to 9 Tuesday night, August 25 at Clemson University’s Strom Thurmond Institute off Perimeter Road.
