Doing “doughnuts” in the field

A Seneca police report estimates $2 thousand damage by vandals last week at Blue Ridge Field on Holland Avenue. The police were alerted to pick up trucks doing doughnuts at 2 o’clock Friday morning and within vicinity of the field and park stopped two trucks on nearby E. South Second Street. Their suspicions were heightened after spotting grass markings on one of the vehicles, a white pickup. According to police reports, three young men were arrested and jailed. A fourth person was released to the custody of his father.
