Drive-by shootings

Two homes near Seneca were the scenes last week of drive-by shootings, and the Sheriff’s Department seeks the public’s help to solve the crimes. The drive-by shootings occurred Wednesday during the early morning hours. First, just before 4 a-m on Gallo Way, not far from the Shiloh Road. The second, a little more than 90 minutes later on Dyar Road—between Cherokee Gardens and Old Clemson Highway. No one was hurt. But, in each incident, there was property damage. Oconee deputies think a blue Crown Victoria may have been involved. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 864/638-STOP or 1-888/Crime-SC. You can text tips to 274637. Crimestoppers promises anonymity of all callers. If your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a reward of up to $2 thousand.
