Two arrests alleging drug law violations led to additional charges once Oconee deputies transported the accused to the county jail.  After a report Friday of a disturbance at a mobile home park, deputies arrested, Kevin Wayne Maler, and served an “Operation Ice Chizel” arrest warrant charging the 49-year old man with distribution of meth.  Additional warrants charging Maler with distribution of meth and introducing g contraband into a correctional facility were served on Maler at the detention center.  At the detention center also Friiday officers charged a New York state woman with introducing contraband into a correctional facility.  According to the Sheriff’s Office, Kayla Marie Schade-Nameth of Poughkeepsie, New York was arrested earlier in the day on the charge of heroin possession at the scene of an I-85 traffic stop of the car that Schade-Nameth drove.
