Drug charges placed against Easley driver near Salem

A car without tag lights at 2:30 in the morning near Salem attracted the attention of a sheriff’s deputy. And yesterday’s traffic stop on north highway 11 at Flat Shoals Road led to drug charges against a young driver. The Sheriff’s Office has announced charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance against 17-year old Easley resident Joshua William Wright. An arrest affidavit issued by Magistrate Blake Norton alleges that Wright possessed 324 Oxycodone pills.
