Drug crackdown in the Upstate

Announcements in Pickens and Columbia today of arrests and indictments in a couple of drug trafficking operations across Upstate South Carolina counties. Attorney General Alan Wilson announced 35 people indicted in marijuana and prescription drug trafficking operation and 17 in a methamphetamine operation. Among those indicted by the state grand jury are four Oconee County residents. Jennifer Christine Young, 31, of Seneca was indicted on the charge of conspiracy to traffick meth; Timothy Edward Suggs, 23, of Seneca, indicted on the charge of trafficking marijuana; Andrew Michael Moran of Seneca, 27, indicted on the charge of trafficking marijuana; and Thomas Carl Wyatt, 28, of Westminster indicted on the charge of trafficking marijuana. According to Wilson, all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty.
