Drug-seized vehicles and equipment to highest bids

Drug-seized vehicles and equipment in the possession of the Oconee Sheriff’s Office will go to auction next month and be available to the highest bidder. Sheriff Mike Crenshaw announces the auction will take place at 9 o’clock Saturday morning, August 2 at the County Vehicle Maintenance Facility at 15026 Wells Highway, Seneca. The vehicles and equipment were seized as part of drug investigations. According to the Sheriff’s Office, all vehicles and equipment have been searched before the auction to ensure that no drugs or paraphernalia are inside. Among property for sale: a 2005 Dodge Caravan, a tractor with bush hog and attachment, a Toro lawn mower, and a 2006 GMC Yukon.
