Duncan to preside over congressional hearing

Third District Congressman Jeff Duncan presides at a Washington hearing this morning that’ll delve into how well the Department of Homeland Security is using technology to combat violations at the borders. The hearing by the Subcommittee on Oversight and Management Efficiency takes place at 10 o’clock in the Cannon Office Building and will include witnesses from the Department of Homeland Security and the General Accounting Office. Duncan says, “This hearing will examine DHS’s efforts to modernize key information technology (IT) systems used by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
