Duncan’s Iran bill Ok’d by Senate

First-term Congressman Jeff Duncan has seen his Iran legislation sail through the Senate by unanimous consent. A Republican senator from Florida made what Duncan’s Washington office describes as a technical change to the bill, and it’s now back to the House for a final vote. Then the bill goes to the desk of President Obama. Duncan describes the Western Hemisphere Act (HR 3783) as a bill that assesses an emerging threat of an Iranian-back terror network in the hemisphere and to develos a strategy to combat the threat.
