Ed Land to speak at Apple luncheon

August 12, 2014

A leading Oconee County agriculturist will make the featured talk at this year’s South Carolina Apple Festival luncheon, sponsored by the Westminster Rotary Club. Organizers have made arrangements to present Ed Land of Long Creek’s Chattooga Belle Farm, a 138-acre working farm to keynote the luncheon planned for 1 o’clock Friday afternoon, September 5. This year’s festival will be the 53rd in an event created to celebrate the annual crops brought in the Oconee’s apple-growing region.
